LOS ANGELES — Retired performer Dale Savage has passed away, according to Anthony Duran of Ducati Studios. Savage died on June 19 after suffering a stroke. He was 62.
"It is with a heavy heart that I let all of his fans know that adult film star Dale Savage passed away from a stroke on June 19," Duran wrote on X.com on July 3. "I am still in shock and having a hard time finding the words to write this."
Savage entered the business at age 50 and spent nearly a decade performing before deciding to retire and live a quiet life in Vail, Colorado, nearly three years ago.
Duran called Savage a "true superstar in the industry" and wrote that he "absolutely loved his work and collaborated with some of the top studios and actors."
Seth Knight, Jordi Massive, Christian Mitchell, Ben Rush, Maxx Stoner, Jack van Dean, Mick Weston, and Wade Wolfgar were among the adult creators who paid tribute to Savage on X.com, where he had more than 70,000 followers and last posted on June 13.
"He was such an awesome and sweet guy," Knight wrote on X.com. "May he fly high and keep watch over us!"
"Love never dies. Until we meet again," added Duran, who ended his message with a string of heart emojis.
