LOS ANGELES — Licensed psychologist and Sugahlipz founder Dr. Picolya McCall-Robinson is the latest guest on the "In Bed With Kate" podcast, hosted by Kate Kozlova.
During the podcast, Kozlova and McCall-Robinson discuss how manipulative and abusive behaviors can remain hidden behind charisma, success, and social influence. They also explore topics such as narcissism, trauma bonding, coercive control, and the psychological impact of abusive relationships, and offer practical strategies for healing and rebuilding healthy relationship patterns.
"Many people hear terms like narcissism, gaslighting, and trauma bonding online, but don't fully understand how these dynamics operate in real relationships," said Kozlova. "I wanted to bring in a qualified mental health professional to help our audience understand the warning signs, the psychology behind these behaviors, and, most importantly, how healing is possible."
Added McCall-Robinson, "The ability to identify red flags can be life-changing. Recognizing manipulative behaviors empowers individuals to protect their mental and emotional well-being, seek support when needed, and build healthier relationships based on mutual respect and understanding."
