PALM SPRINGS, Calif. — Ducati Studios Network will release "Heart Throb," the latest episode of its gay western erotic drama "Drifters," on June 17.
"Set in a stylized desert world, the series follows a cast of cowboys, outsiders, drifters, lovers, and loners as they search for connection, freedom, and desire on the open road, and move through a world of desire, longing, freedom, and reinvention," the synopsis reveals. "The series blends cinematic adult storytelling with ensemble drama, vintage Americana, and a distinctly queer point of view."
Derek Kage and Ryan Orion star in "Heart Throb," which centers on the chemistry between the two of them. The film hails from writer-director Daddy Patrick and executive producer Trenton Ducati, and features cinematography by Ryan Bryan.
Studio founder Ducati enthused about its latest release.
"'Drifters' was created to bring more narrative, character, and emotional stakes into adult entertainment," he said. "With 'Heart Throb,' Derek and Ryan show what happens when you pair great performers with real onscreen chemistry. The sex is passionate because the connection is there. It feels intimate, cinematic, and alive, which is exactly what we wanted this series to deliver."
