SAN FRANCISCO — NakedSword has wrapped production on the new Ben Rush-helmed feature thriller, “Eat the Rich.”
Written and directed by Rush, the title stars Jayden Marcos, Paul Wagner, and reigning three-time XMAs Gay Performer of the Year Derek Kage.
“Jayden Marcos has learned how to turn access into leverage,” the synopsis reveals. “Moving easily among influential circles, he quietly extracts millions from high-profile figures, redistributing their money into LGBTQ+ advocacy and other socially conscious initiatives. What begins as a controlled operation built on discretion and insight could easily start to crack, drawing Jayden deeper into a web of secrecy and risk.”
Falcon/NakedSword CEO Tim Valenti elaborated on the feature.
“‘Eat the Rich’ is about power and the private contradictions that shape public people," he said. "It’s essentially a Robin Hood-type story that’s both provocative and timely, told with a level of style and restraint that reflects the world we live in now.”
Added Co-Chief Content Officer Rush, “We weren’t interested in playing it safe. This film is unapologetically button-pushing, and it asks viewers to sit with the divide between image and truth without giving them an easy way out.”
