EDINBURGH, Scotland — Dr. Lori Beth Bisbey will host a new online edition of her "Fetish & Kink Workshop: How to Explore and Communicate Desires" on Sunday, Apr. 12, from 2-4 p.m. (PDT).
Offering a two-hour deep dive into kink, consent, communication, and curiosity, the workshop is "designed to demystify fetish and kink while giving attendees practical tools for exploration in a supportive setting," said a rep. "Bisbey will also cover core definitions, including kink, fetish, BDSM, authority transfer, domspace, and subspace, along with consent frameworks such as SSC, RACK, PRICK, and the 4 C’s.
"The session will include practical exercises around desire and roles, guidance on safe words and withdrawing consent, basic risk assessment and reality testing, negotiation, boundary setting, communication skills, and an overview of aftercare," the rep added.
Bisbey enthused about the workshop.
"I love creating spaces where people can get curious, ask the questions they’ve been afraid to ask, and come away with information they can actually use," she said. "This workshop is about helping people understand their desires, communicate them clearly and explore with more confidence, more skill and far less shame."
