HOLLYWOOD, Calif. — Playboy magazine’s Swedish edition has selected Sofie Marie as the cover model for its March 2026 issue, which marks her third appearance in Playboy.
Marie's latest photoshoot features her dressed as a cavewoman, paying homage to one of Raquel Welch’s most iconic roles in the 1966 movie "One Million Years B.C." The famous doeskin fur bikini she wore on the promotional poster made Welch an instant sex symbol.
"Raquel was comfortable with her body and the skimpy fur bikini, and she owned the screen with her confidence," said Marie. "She was a true pioneer of the empowered sexy female archetype, and I wanted to both pay my respects to her for paving the way for the modern woman and show Playboy readers a different part of my sexuality.
"As a nudist, I really love being in nature, and Playboy showcases the beauty of confidence when a woman owns her sensual, feminine form," added Marie, who was previously the cover model for Playboy New Zealand in November 2022 as well as Miss December for the 2023 Playboy Sweden Calendar.
