MONTREAL — Girlsway has launched an open virtual casting call for its new lesbian feature, "Straight Girls."
Director Casey Calvert will lead the search for cis women who can portray characters in their mid-20s. The production is casting for both girl/girl performance roles and non-sex acting roles.
"I've historically had really good luck casting my features via an audition process, and I'm excited to do it again for Adult Time," said Calvert. "I'm looking for performers who love acting and making movies as much as I do. I can't wait to hear from everyone."
Bree Mills, executive producer and chief creative officer for Adult Time, also enthused about the opportunity.
"I’m so excited to see who turns out for this audition process and helps us bring Casey’s film to life," said Mills.
Interested talent should submit their contact information, agency representation (if applicable), social media links, and the top travel destination on their bucket lists to caseycalvertauditions@gmail.com.
Submissions are due by March 10, and Calvert will then contact selected candidates with additional information and audition sides. Filming is slated to take place April 9-15 in Los Angeles.
