LOS ANGELES — Gaming company Group C will debut its new industry-themed board game, “Woodman Casting X — The Game,” later this year.
According to a rep, players roleplay as casting director Pierre Woodman, exploring the streets of Budapest, searching for models, earning money, and paying models. The game features the likenesses of David Perry, Thomas Stone, and Alain Deloin.
“Murder is illegal, theft is illegal, and carrying weapons is illegal,” said CEO Helena Catoir. “But turn it into a game, and your name appears in all the media — and you might even win awards. Sex is legal, but turn it into a game and you are banned and canceled by those same media outlets.”
The game will drop in September and is now available for pre-order in select European territories.
