Aylo, SWOP Behind Bars to Host 'Deplatforming' Community Panel

LOS ANGELES — Aylo and Sex Workers Outreach Project (SWOP) Behind Bars will host a panel on creators’ rights and deplatforming on Feb. 10 at 3 p.m. (EST).

The panel, "Banned and Blocked: Defending the Rights of Creators On and Offline,” will be co-hosted by SWOP Behind Bars Executive Director Blair Hopkins and Aylo VP of Brand and Community Alex Kekesi. It will feature panelists Siri Dahl, Savannah Sly, and Cherie DeVille.

“The panel will examine how deplatforming across banks, payment processors, and social media platforms impacts access to income, visibility, and digital infrastructure for sex workers, creators, and advocacy organizations,” said a rep. “The discussion will also explore practical advocacy and resilience strategies; we’ll cover legal and policy responses, alternative platforms, and ways to build community strength.”
