XBIZ Retail Retreat Miami Set for May 5-9

LOS ANGELES — The summer edition of XBIZ Retreat will take place May 5-9, welcoming attendees back to the Grand Miami Beach Hotel’s oceanfront setting and marking the latest installment of the all-inclusive, invitation-only B2B retail event.

Designed to promote impactful business growth, the XBIZ Retreat Miami will once again provide the event’s signature mix of curated one-on-one meetings, high-impact networking socials, and intimate special events. The event format prioritizes quality over quantity, offering retailers and pleasure brands the space to connect and build long-term partnerships in a relaxed, upscale setting.

“XBIZ Retreats are known for fostering deeper, more authentic engagement than any event,” said XBIZ Associate Publisher Sara Ramirez. “Miami provides the ideal setting for engaging in meaningful conversations, strengthening relationships, and leaving with partnerships that last well beyond the event itself.”

Among the memorable experiences for participants are curated social gatherings that range from experiential activities to laid-back moments spent lounging and connecting on the beach.

“The last edition of XBIZ Retreat Miami was the best so far,” said XOX Toys General Manager Jesse H. in reaction to last year’s installment. “Excellent meetings with vendors, lots of value to unpack. All the social events hit the spot.”

Jesse H. highlighted last year’s golf outing at Puttery that took attendees to Miami’s trendy Wynwood neighborhood as a standout event that “got people together and active, which was a fun way to unwind after all the meetings.”

Kate McGregor, CFO and managing partner of Adam & Eve in Long Beach, California, expressed, “The camaraderie among us was so much fun, refreshing and energizing to my soul. I enjoyed spending time nourishing both new and old relationships.”

Carolyn Eagle of Betty’s Toy Box called last year’s gathering “a stellar event with fantastic manufacturers and great new products.”

Eagle continued, “I can always rely on XBIZ Retreat to strengthen my relationships with the brands and people I already work with and to discover new and innovative products. I came away with some wonderful new friends and business connections.”

Janra Distribution’s Megan Swartz praised the event's curated mix of vendors.

“I got to see tons of new and exciting products,” she said following last year’s Retreat. “This was my favorite XBIZ event so far. I enjoyed every single meeting I had.”
