LOS ANGELES — VR Bangers has marked its 10-year anniversary.
According to a rep, Jan. 21 marks the launch of the VR studio, which was first dreamed up on Oct. 31, 2014.
“We literally sat in a garage and invented the future of adult VR,” said the rep. “Initial experiments started with six custom GoPro rigs — later upgraded to 16. The very first content was shot in 2015, but those early attempts, while full of passion, didn’t meet the standards the studio set for itself and remained unreleased.
“VR Bangers made history by becoming the first studio to deliver true 4K resolution in full 360-degree immersion,” the rep added. “Over the years, the studio developed increasingly advanced custom video rigs, raising the bar from 6K to today’s stunning 8K Ultra HD standard.
