LOS ANGELES — Director Wrex Oliver's "Step Sisters," a gender-flipped take on "Step Brothers" from Family Strokes/Reptyle, was named Best Comedy Movie at the 2026 XMAs.
"I am incredibly honored to see 'Step Sisters' receive the XMA for Best Comedy Movie," said Oliver. "A massive thank you to our amazing cast and crew for their hard work, and a special shout-out to Gal Ritchie and Aubree Valentine for their incredible contributions. Working alongside Gal and Aubree was an absolute career highlight. Their comedic chemistry is undeniable. Their banter and comic timing had everyone in stitches, bringing laughter and energy to the set."
