The Game to Bring West Coast Fire to X3 Expo Grand Finale

LOS ANGELES — Multi-platinum West Coast rapper The Game will close out X3 Expo, presented by Chaturbate, with a high-octane live performance at the Hollywood Palladium on Saturday, Jan. 17, capping the event with swagger, legacy and raw L.A. energy.

Born and raised in Compton, The Game helped shape the sound of 2000s hip-hop, breaking through with his platinum debut “The Documentary” — a project that didn’t just dominate the charts and propel him onto the national stage, but stamped West Coast culture back into the mainstream. The album produced era-defining tracks including “Hate It or Love It,” “How We Do” and “Dreams,” while also introducing fans to his early work alongside G-Unit. “The Documentary” has been hailed by Billboard magazine as one of the top rap albums of all time, cementing its place in hip-hop history.

As Billboard put it, “When the West Coast craved a new rap face in the 2000s, The Game gladly accepted, rejuvenating an entire region. With Dr. Dre and 50 Cent on speed dial, The Game leapfrogged his peers with 2005’s The Documentary.”

He doubled down on that momentum with “Doctor’s Advocate,” dropping staples like “Let’s Ride” and “Wouldn’t Get Far,” further solidifying his reputation as a storyteller who blends street reality with godly beats.

In 2025, he linked up with DJ Drama for the “Gangsta Grillz” mixtape “Every Movie Needs a Trailer,” a release that proved he’s still hungry, still loud and still ready to move the culture forward. The project reignited conversation across hip-hop and social media, reinforcing The Game’s staying power.

Now he’s bringing that same West Coast intensity to X3, turning the industry’s biggest fan-driven weekend into a full-scale hip-hop moment. Surrounded by creators, fans and tastemakers, The Game’s performance promises to be less “closing act” and more “mic-drop.”

The performance will cap off the expo on Saturday, Jan. 17, delivering a charged send-off to two days of star meet-and-greets, brand activations, movie screenings, contests, and more.
