Liz Jordan on Creative Confidence and Earning Her Vixen Angel Wings

On the first day of COVID lockdowns, Liz Jordan got temporarily laid off from her job at Pressed Juicery. While waiting to be called back to work, she decided to launch a casual side hustle.

“I was already posting nudes, lewds, and lingerie pics on this Instagram account I had just for my close friends,” she recalls. “I realized that I could be making money off of it if I made an OnlyFans. When I started promoting myself on Twitter, an agent found me and was like, ‘Have you ever thought about doing porn?’ I told him, ‘I’ll do it if I don’t have to show my face.’

“He said, ‘Well, this is legit porn, so you have to show your face!’” she laughs. “So I was like, ‘Okay, fuck it. I guess I’ll try.’”

Curiosity Was Her Calling

Though Jordan’s arrival onto the adult scene was almost by chance, in some ways her natural curiosity made the move feel inevitable.

“I was on Tinder as soon as I turned 18,” she says. “I just wanted to explore what kind of kinks I was into, so I specifically looked for people that said ‘daddy dom’ or something along those lines. When I joined the industry and learned that I could safely explore all the kinks I wanted to, and make money, I was like, ‘This is the perfect fit for me.’”

Those tastes, she notes, have shifted with time.

“Honestly, since joining the industry, I’ve gotten more vanilla than I was before,” Jordan admits. “I’ve already explored all my fantasies, so I don’t really need to do it anymore unless I’m with a partner that’s really into it too.”

A key turning point came when Jordan caught the attention of noted talent agent Mark Spiegler—with a little help from a friend.

“Ryan Reid DM’d me on Twitter and was like, ‘You deserve to be a Spiegler girl,’” Jordan recalls. “I told her, ‘No, I live in the Bay Area and he only wants LA girls. I don’t think he even knows who I am.’”

As it turns out, he did.

“I went to lunch with Spiegler,” Jordan beams. “They didn’t care that I didn’t live in LA. They just wanted me. I wouldn’t be a Spiegler girl without Ryan.”

The Gang’s All Here

Jordan did eventually end up relocating to Los Angeles. She’s been exploring the city with two dogs—“a he and a she,” as she puts it. During our interview, they seem curious about whoever has Mom’s attention.

“They’re always in my business,” she smiles. “I love hanging out with them. I also love to cook and go to Pilates.”

Still, there are things she misses about home.

“I tried to find areas in LA that were more homey and less fast-paced, like the Bay,” she says. “Everyone here has a certain vibe. The Bay is the complete opposite.”

Still, Jordan says she loves working with her industry peers, and that showing up to set often feels more like “catching up” than anything else.

“I love Alex Jones,” she gushes. “He’s a sweetheart. And Jason Luv is always great to work with. Honestly, I get thrown in with a lot of the same people and it just makes me want to keep working with them.”

That’s what happened on the set of “The Blueprint,” the recent five-part series from VMG’s Blacked imprint.

“It was so fun,” Jordan says. “There were so many different people on that set—new people I hadn’t seen before, but also so many people I’ve worked with for years.”

Though expecting a grueling shoot, Jordan found herself pleasantly surprised at the lighthearted atmosphere.

“I was mentally prepared for it to be a long, hard day because it’s a whole movie,” she explains. “When you have a long day on set, tensions can arise—but on that set, not one thing went wrong. Everyone was just having the time of their life, goofing around. We were just laughing the whole time.

“Especially with Jason,” she adds. “He’s so funny!”

Earning Her Wings, Driving Traffic

Even before she became a Vixen Angel this past July, Jordan was already a familiar face on the company’s sets.

“At the beginning of my career, Vixen was the only big company that repeatedly booked me,” she says. “They’ve always supported me and wanted me for my first anal scene.”

The extra breathing room her contract now affords her means that Jordan can be more intentional about what she shoots and how she shows up for her fans. There is already plenty in the pipeline.

“I have a few unreleased scenes for Vixen that I’m really excited about,” she says. “I also have some upcoming scenes for Deeper.”

Beyond studio work, she also hopes to grow her OnlyFans, now that she has more free time on her hands. Jordan admits, however, that the self-marketing required for success on premium social media platforms is not her favorite part of the job—nor is it her forte.

“For me, the content part is really easy,” she explains. “I just do solos or shoot with people I want to work with. The social media side is definitely harder. I think it’s harder for a lot of people—it’s like a separate job, almost. But that’s how you drive people to your site, which ultimately is how you make money.

“I don’t think I would have said this five years ago when I first started, but I’m not that comfortable talking to a camera and making goofy videos or ‘thirst trap’ videos,” she reflects. “I’m more comfortable just being naked on set and fucking on camera.”

Any other goals for the coming year?

“I really want to be a Fleshlight girl,” she enthuses. “I achieved my goal of being a Vixen Angel, so now I can go after some other things on my list!”
