MIAMI — Sally D'Angelo has made it to the semifinals of Playboy's latest contest in search of talent.
D'Angelo entered the contest on a dare from her Loyalfans affiliate, and now the 71-year-old performer is up against a 21-year-old newcomer. Given the age disparity between D'Angelo and her much younger competition, her campaign has gone viral online.
"I jumped in for the fun of it, but I never imagined it'd blow up faster than a fireworks finale," said D'Angelo, who is just riding the wave for now.
