LOS ANGELES — VoyR has announced its first in-house produced limited series, “The Party.”
Directed by Alternativa and executive produced by Rhyheim Shabazz and MrArchangel Adam, the three-part mystery thriller features Markin Wolf, Bruno Draco, Hiuri Cruz, Lvcas Ripardo, and Big Rod.
“A chilling wave of brutal murders has gripped Brazil’s LGBTQIA+ community, targeting adult content creators found under eerily identical circumstances,” the synopsis reveals. “With police baffled and fear mounting, the story unfolds at an exclusive rooftop party overlooking Rio’s glittering skyline. Amid throbbing music, swaying bodies, and unraveling secrets, passion ignites, and pleasure collides head-on with peril.”
Shabazz enthused about the release.
“There’s nothing safe about ‘The Party,’” he said. “It’s beautiful; it’s dark; and it’s dangerously human. Every frame pulses with heat and hunger — the way cinema should.”
