LAS VEGAS — Lorelai Leigh will host Alt Erotic director/CEO Ivan’s Bowling Donation Drive for victims of domestic violence at The Nerd Bar in Las Vegas on October 30.
The event will feature Leigh speaking about her experience with domestic violence to help raise awareness. In addition to raising funds, the following donation items are requested: baby items such as formula, diapers, and food; children’s Halloween costumes; feminine hygiene products; non-perishable food items; new socks and underwear; cleaning supplies; and gift cards for food and merchandise stores, among other items. All donations will be delivered to the local shelter the following day.
“I’m happy that I am able to use my platform and my voice to shed light on a very real and often fatal issue within society and within our industry,” said Leigh. “As a survivor of domestic violence, this is an issue that I am extremely passionate about. I hope in sharing my story and providing education and resources to the public that it helps at least one person muster the courage to leave and start living their life not only by surviving day to day, but also by learning how to thrive despite the fears of their past.”
