LOS ANGELES — Olivia Would has released a cover of the Nine Inch Nails song "Starfuckers Inc."
The tune and its accompanying music video are described by a rep as "a piece of artistry that highlights the beautiful contradiction of Would's Hollywood aesthetic with her grunge musicality" and "captures the raw, confrontational energy" of the original, infused with "her own distinct, transgressive flair."
Would enthused about the release.
“I like dissonance. I like the soft, blonde aesthetic paired with a song like 'Starfuckers, Inc.,'” said Would. “I figure the most subversive thing I can do is appear normal.”
