HOLLYWOOD, Calif. — Lauren Phillips is featured in the documentary "TMZ Presents: The War Over OnlyFans."
The documentary aired last week on Fox and features interviews with multiple current and former OnlyFans creators, including Joe Gow and his wife, Carmen Wilson, who are better known as the Sexy Happy Couple on OnlyFans, Pornhub, and YouTube.
When Gow was fired from his job as a tenured college professor after being outed as an adult performer, his story went viral, and Phillips shared a similar tale.
"Eventually, my grandmother found out that I work in adult — she was the one person I really tried to shield from this," said Phillips. "My parents always knew, and I wasn’t so concerned about my other relatives. But since the cat is out of the bag, I wanted to tell how all of this affected me," she added.
"TMZ Presents: The War Over OnlyFans" also sees a live audience vote on whether the platform is toxic or a lifeline for wealth and fulfillment. The documentary is now streaming on Hulu.
