LOS ANGELES — XBIZ is pleased to announce the debut of “Behind the Lens,” a new screening series at the upcoming XBIZ Amsterdam conference, featuring special screenings followed by conversations with noted directors.
Kicking off the inaugural sessions, Hentaied’s Romero Mr. Alien — the subject of this month’s XBIZ cover story — and studio director Roberto Di Suna will host a screening and discuss the meticulous choreography, practical effects, and stunt work that go into creating their atmospheric productions.
“Roberto is the best action director I know,” attested Romero. “I’m proud to present him and his work to XBIZ Amsterdam, to inspire future Hentaied directors. Attendees, be warned: You've never seen anything like this!”
Acclaimed producer and Lustery.com founder Paulita Pappel will also present, taking attendees behind the scenes of the reality TV-inspired “House of Love & Lustery.”
“‘House of Love & Lustery’ is all about collaboration with creators, and we can’t wait to celebrate that spirit alongside the community at XBIZ Amsterdam,” Pappel said. “Bringing the industry together, creating dialogue, and building networks helps us support one another in the face of the stigma we still encounter in society.”
Five-time Euro XMAs Director of the Year Julia Grandi will showcase the second season of “Hotel Vixen” and talk about what went into creating the cinematic production.
“Great ideas don’t stay still; they demand to be realized,” shared Grandi. “‘Hotel Vixen 2’ has been a journey full of challenges and passion, a story of imagination brought to life. I’m excited to share it at XBIZ Amsterdam.”
Finally, director Alter Sin will discuss the making of adult heist thriller “The Barcelona Job,” which he co-directed with Alternativa in a collaboration between Falcon/NakedSword and VoyR.

The 2025 edition of XBIZ Amsterdam is set to take place Sept. 2-5 at the waterside Jakarta Hotel Amsterdam. As Europe’s biggest adult industry conference, XBIZ Amsterdam 2025 will once again serve up a fresh slate of not-to-be-missed panels, business-boosting workshops, networking activities, and all-new sizzling socials to supercharge fresh business and lasting memories — culminating in the adult industry’s biggest night on the continent: the 2025 Euro XMAs on Sept. 4.
