HOLLYWOOD, Calif. — Rhyheim Shabazz has won Gay Performer of the Year at the 2025 Urban X Awards, marking his third major Performer of the Year title this year.
“Winning Urban X Gay Performer of the Year and being in the room to feel that energy was amazing,” said Shabazz. “The Urban X stage is about more than an award — it’s about what we mean to the culture, to the community, and to each other. Standing there, I felt the love, the power, and the responsibility to keep pushing representation forward. That moment will stay with me forever.”
The Urban X Awards show was held at the Regent Theater in Downtown Los Angeles on Aug. 17.
