Seth Gamble Makes His Digital Playground Directorial Debut

LOS ANGELES — Multi-XMAs winner Seth Gamble has made his Digital Playground directorial debut with the studio's latest feature, titled "The Birthday Slasher."

The title stars Liz Jordan, Parker Ambrose, Myra Moans, and Lucky Fate.

“For her birthday, goth hottie Emmy (Jordan) wants to eat cake and binge horror movies, but her bestie, Sadie (Moans), has something else planned,” the synopsis reveals. “When Sadie’s boyfriend Benny (Fate) and his buddy Scott (Ambrose) show up, there’s a major vibe switch. The surprise guest is Emmy’s longtime crush — with news of a nearby murder. Emmy and Scott sneak away for private time, and a bloodcurdling scream cuts through the night. It starts to feel like no one is safe.”

Gamble enthused about the project.

“I’ve been performing for Digital for almost two decades, so stepping behind the camera with them was a surreal, full-circle moment,” he said. “This project is suspenseful, darkly playful, and at times genuinely creepy. Liz Jordan killed it in the lead role; she brought power, nuance, and command to every scene. Parker Ambrose delivered with his signature presence, and Lucky Fate and Myra Moans each did an incredible job. I can’t talk about this experience without giving credit to my crew; everyone played an integral part in bringing this to life. Thank you to everyone at Digital Playground for trusting me with this.”

“The Birthday Slasher” is streaming on Digital Playground.
