LOS ANGELES — Performer and producer Selina Kyl has launched a Seed&Spark campaign for "Wholesome," a microbudget independent feature set within the adult industry.
The film stars Natasha Lovaas and Angelina Elido, and will feature special appearances by Lulu Chu, Little Puck, and Katy Jayne. Production is slated to start this winter in Denver.
Written and produced by Kyl, "Wholesome" is described by a rep as "'Notting Hill' with ring lights and dildos." It follows the story of a lonely camgirl and the unpredictable porn star who disrupts her routine. What begins as a content collab spirals into a chaotic, comedic, and ultimately tender exploration of burnout, branding, and intimacy.
The rep added that "Wholesome" aims to shift how sex worker narratives are told, focusing on human connection, dignity, and joy rather than stigma or exploitation. The project seeks to expand representation for sex workers both in front of and behind the camera.
Kyl enthused about the project.
"We’re reclaiming the narrative, telling a story with honesty, humor, and heart," she said. "Through comedy and romance, we want to foster empathy and visibility for a community that deserves to be seen."
The Seed&Spark campaign launched earlier this week. For more information, click here.
