LOS ANGELES — Digital Playground has debuted Marvin Love's new feature, "The Last Resort."
The title stars Scarlett Alexis, Nathan Bronson, Texas Patti, Vince Karter, Gal Ritchie, Stella Luxx, Cherry Kiss, Nick Strokes, and Jayden Marcos.
"’The Last Resort’ follows Jess (Alexis) and Andy (Bronson), a couple on the verge of collapse, as they attempt to reignite their relationship by checking into the sexiest resort on Earth, Paradise Pleasures,” the synopsis reveals. “From the moment they arrive, it’s clear that this isn’t your average getaway. Sex is everywhere, boundaries are blurred, and the resort regulars are ready to enrapture the new arrivals.”
Love elaborated about the project.
“When I got the script, I was on vacation in Thailand, and right after reading it, I started drawing inspiration from my Thailand experience, and I brought that into this movie,” he said. “The writing is quite brilliant and funny, and I loved working with everyone. Both Nathan Bronson and Scarlett Alexis were amazing as leads. ‘The Last Resort’ has everything one could want: scandal, great sex, funny moments, revenge, and love.”
Alexis enthused about the shoot.
"I had the most amazing experience working with director Marvin and the entire crew and cast,” she said. “My character experienced an array of dramatic emotions that I thoroughly enjoyed expressing, and the synergy of everyone in this project made it an experience I’ll never forget.”
Added Ritchie, “I had a fantastic time being involved in this project. It is such a fun concept, and it was so much fun working with Stella and Nathan. The way it was filmed was super unique, especially the underwater aspect, and I can’t wait for people to see the final product.”
