LOS ANGELES — Sara Jay has partnered with Vermont-based organization Ishtar Collective to provide shoes, clothes, and products from her self-care brand Bare Self Care/Sara Jay CBD to those in the Northeast who are in need.
Ishtar Collective is "a sex-worker-and-survivor-led organization that supports sex workers and advocates for respect on their behalf," said a rep. "The org also maintains a community garden and 'food justice program' to feed the needy and educate people about the values of land stewardship."
Jay enthused about working with the organization.
"I am profoundly honored to support such a worthy cause with anything I can do to support them," she said. "Sex workers are sadly all too often still subjected to exploitation, trafficking and violence. I hope in addition to donations I can shine a light on Ishtar who is doing something positive for change."
