MONTREAL — Adult Time has debuted the second episode of the Bree Mills-helmed thriller "Escape From Camp Conversion," from studio brand Girlcore.
The feature stars Octavia Red, Lulu Chu, Alex Coal, Leana Lovings, Demi Hawks, Ameena Green, Selena Ivy, Charlie Forde, Codi Vore, Cami Strella, Sophia Locke, and Lexi Luna, with Lana Smalls, Scarlet Skies, Daniel Shar, Mandi Slade, Bree Mills, Beau Donovan, BCine, and Casey Calvert.
“In the installment, new arrival Lily (Chu) is thrown into the dorm with the other young women at the camp,” the synopsis reveals. “She shares her story with Jenna (Red) — that she’d been targeted by a therapist (Luna) and manipulated into a sexual encounter before being taken to Camp Conversion. As Lucy (Hawks), Angela (Lovings), and Samantha (Coal) bond over their shared experiences, Lily reveals she’s smuggled in a cellphone — offering a chance for escape.”
Mills enthused about the project.
“Girlcore has always been my love letter to lesbian pulp and queer erotica,” she said. “Set in the vibrant world of the 1980s and inspired by the pop culture of that era, it’s been an incredible cinematic universe to build.
“This year, I wanted to return to the award-winning brand with our most ambitious project yet — a trilogy of films that explore themes of adversity, empowerment, and the unbreakable bonds between women,” she added. “With an all-star cast, bold wardrobe and set design, and rich, stylized cinematography, I hope this trilogy becomes a timeless classic in queer cinema.”
