Octavia Red Earns 1st Nomination at Urban X Awards

LOS ANGELES — Octavia Red has been nominated for Best Actress at the 2025 Urban X Awards.

"Wow, this is really amazing, and I’m speechless," said Red. "To be recognized for my acting is something I’ve always wanted, and it’s helped me get some incredible roles with some of the biggest companies. However, being nominated by my fans speaks volumes, as they truly appreciate my work. Thank you so much. I’d love to win this, so please vote for me."

The Urban X Awards show will take place at the Regent Theater in Downtown Los Angeles on Aug. 17.
