“I need two hours between waking up and the time I need to be on set to prep for a scene,” Cavalli explains. “I don’t like to be rushed because it makes me feel anxious and stressed, and then my energy is off.”
Maintaining balance is especially important when she’s on the road, a reality of her work that requires constant adjustment. Cavalli prioritizes micro-breaks and routines that allow her to recharge between commitments.
“I definitely know when I need a break between things, but that doesn’t necessarily mean taking days off work,” she explains. “Sometimes it’s just going quiet — whether that means not posting, staying off social media or even just taking a quick nap in between things.”
Cavalli also leans on healthy habits to maintain her energy and keep stress at bay.
“If I’m working back-to-back, I try to get to bed early and get up early, giving myself enough rest or time to myself before being on the go again,” she says. “I definitely eat healthy and have to have my matcha and stretch in the mornings to get me going.”
And of course, there’s her cats.
“Taking a few minutes to play or love on my kitties also helps me relax,” she says. “Their innocence is very soothing and helps keep me grounded.”

“I have lots of projects I want to do and try,” she explains.

“There’s always things that happen on set that I wish the camera was rolling for, because those are the funniest moments no one ever gets to see,” she says. “The viewers get to see the sexy stuff, but it can be a comedy show behind the scenes. That’s the good stuff they’re missing out on.”
Despite her success, Cavalli remains deliberate about what she shares and how she presents herself. Her advice to newcomers reflects that same careful consideration.
“If it doesn’t feel right, it probably isn’t,” she says. “Go with your gut — it will very seldom lead you wrong.”
Cavalli approaches her own journey with the kind of humor and humility that comes from experience.
“I can’t say that I would’ve listened even if I had gotten the same advice,” she jokes. “But I’m very grateful to have met some great people in the industry who steered me in the right direction.”
