LOS ANGELES — The Cinema Erotica Film Festival has announced that its debut edition will take place Oct. 10-12 in downtown Los Angeles.
The three-day festival will feature curated screenings of quality erotic films, industry panels featuring filmmakers and other industry experts, hands-on filmmaking workshops, and industry networking events, as well as an awards show with a red carpet for photo ops.
There will also be a live-streaming option for those unable to attend in person.
Cinema Erotica is currently accepting submissions from filmmakers worldwide, with submission categories divided between short films & quickies, feature films, documentaries, experimental works, and music videos that thoughtfully engage with erotic themes through an artistic lens.
"The Cinema Erotica Film Festival aims to help redefine perceptions of erotic films by showcasing works that blend artistic vision and visuals with meaningful storytelling and explorations of human intimacy and passion," said a rep. "We're creating a platform for filmmakers who are elevating the erotic genre through their bold creative vision. The festival provides a professional, inclusive environment for celebrating excellence in this evolving genre.
