Performer Roman Mercury Passes Away at 45

LOS ANGELES — Performer Roman Mercury has passed away, according to multiple reports on social media, including one from his close friend and co-star Greg Dixxon. Mercury was 45.

"With profound sadness, we share the heartbreaking news," Dixxon posted on X on Feb. 27, though Mercury's death was only reported this week. "Roman left us unexpectedly, leaving behind a legacy of passion, talent, and kindness that touched the lives of so many around the world."

In a follow-up interview with Out.com, Dixxon reveals that Mercury passed away following a heart attack. He had reportedly complained to Dixxon about his heart medications and described feeling "exhausted" in the weeks leading up to his passing.

"Although his physical heart had issues, his spiritual heart always shined by helping others," Dixxon told Out. "I'd like to believe that he is now in the heavens back with his husband."

Mercury's husband reportedly passed last year, leaving Mercury "crushed."

Born in São Paulo, Brazil, Mercury loved gymnastics and could speak four languages, including Portuguese, Spanish and Russian. He was originally interested in music production before breaking into the adult business during the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020, when he started an OnlyFans account with the support of his husband, according to The Independent. He built up a significant following, both on that platform and on JustFor.fans.

Dixxon praised Mercury's sense of humor, his thirst for knowledge and his willingness to share what he learned with other creators.

"His energy and spirit will forever live on," wrote Dixxon. "Though his time with us was far too short, his impact will never fade.

Dixxon revealed that Mercury's family will spread his ashes in Southern California.

"Roman, you will always be missed, but never forgotten," concluded Dixxon.
