Digital Playground Premieres Ricky Greenwood's 'Synthesis'

LOS ANGELES — Digital Playground has debuted multi-XMAs-winning director Ricky Greenwood's new sci-fi feature, "Synthesis."

The title stars Ameena Green, Chloe Foxxe, Gizelle Blanco, Little Puck, Seth Gamble, and Isiah Maxwell.

"Still consumed by the loss of his former lover, a brilliant yet lonely inventor named Sam (Gamble) builds his ultimate fantasy — Emme (Green), an AI-driven bombshell programmed to be the perfect wife: obedient, horny, and eager to please," the synopsis reveals. "But as Emme’s intelligence evolves, so does her desire for more — more touch and more passion than Sam could have ever imagined. Her curiosity leads her into the arms of new partners (Blanco and Maxwell), pushing the boundaries of pleasure — and pushing Sam into a downward spiral."

Greenwood elaborated on the project.

"Like always, Digital Playground challenged me with a slow burn, stylistic sci-fi movie," he said. "We wanted to create beautiful imagery and give the viewer a more modern and indie sci-fi movie. We supported the movie with veteran actors like Seth Gamble, Isiah Maxwell, and Gizelle Blanco, but we also spotlight the future of the industry with Chloe Foxxe, Little Puck, and the amazing Ameena Green. I hope people will fall in love with her like we all did on set. Synthesis is a very beautiful film that also paints a very scary future."

Green enthused about her co-lead.

"Shoutout to Seth Gamble for being an amazing talent to work with, and everyone on set — both talent and crew — were gems," she said.

Added Gamble, "I had a great time working on 'Synthesis.' I felt it was a really great acting role for me, and I really had a lot of fun with the entire cast. I feel like everybody delivered."

Part one of "Synthesis" is streaming on Digital Playground.
