XBIZ Retreat Miami Set for May 12-16

LOS ANGELES — XBIZ is pleased to announce that the summer edition of XBIZ Retreat will take place from May 12-16, returning to the picturesque Grand Miami Beach Hotel for the latest installment of the all-inclusive B2B retail event.

Featuring its signature mix of one-on-one meetings, networking socials, and relationship-building special events, the Miami edition of XBIZ Retreat continues to grow in popularity, drawing up to 200 curated participants.

“Miami is a favorite destination for XBIZ Retreat attendees to build and nurture valuable relationships in a beautiful, tropical setting,” said XBIZ Associate Publisher Sara Ramirez. “We look forward to welcoming both familiar faces and first-time attendees to another unforgettable edition.”

Last year’s Miami edition of XBIZ Retreat received glowing reviews from attendees who found the event highly productive.

“It was helpful to meet with a range of brands that spanned the categories essential to adult retail,” said Phoebe Grott, director of marketing and strategic partnership for Nalpac/Entrenue. “The buying team values XBIZ Retreat meetings and networking events because they foster lasting relationships.”

Anne Meunier, B2B international sales director for Lovely Planet, said she recommends XBIZ Retreat to anyone who wants to reach new customers in the U.S. and beyond.

“Over the years, we've built up very close relationships thanks to the event’s social gatherings outside of the meeting program,” she said. “The networking element allows us to get together in a really pleasant setting and get to know each other better. As I'm based in Europe, it's a great opportunity for me to get face time with my customers and prospects in the same place, in an enchanting setting where everyone is relaxed, even if business is the priority. A month after each event, I count the number of orders placed and the profitability is there for all to see.”

Holly Berejikian, manager and buyer of Sexy Suz Couples Boutique, praised the event’s signature mix of meetings and leisure time.

“It was the perfect balance of business and fun,” she said. “I was able to place a lot of orders without being overwhelmed.”

Kristi Colón, the senior buyer for Lovers Store, added, “The undivided attention with the vendors to reconnect on business and product really helps me to plan for the rest of the year before we get into the busy season.”
