ASACP to Attend LALExpo

CALI, Colombia — The Association of Sites Advocating Child Protection (ASACP) will attend Latin America Adult Business Expo (LALExpo) on Feb. 23-26.

A rep described LALExpo as an event that "brings together key industry players in a professional and collaborative environment to address the latest digital marketing techniques and technology and the newest legal regulations. It features inspirational conferences, practical workshops, and exclusive networking opportunities to connect professionals and create collaboration opportunities and strategic alliances."

ASACP executive director Tim Henning will sit on a panel Weds., Feb. 26, at 2 p.m. local time, that will address age verification and new regulations to prevent underage access to adult content.

“ASACP is pleased to support LALExpo,” Henning said. “The event and the event’s promoters play a leading role in the fight against child exploitation by helping educate operators about the need for legal compliance and the maintenance of industry protocols and safety standards to help avoid minors’ abuse and guarantee the rights of children and adolescents.”
