PLBY Group Taps Byborg Principal Gyorgy Gattyan for Board of Directors

LOS ANGELES — Playboy parent company PLBY Group has appointed Gyorgy Gattyan to its board of directors.

Gattyan controls Byborg Enterprises, which recently made a $22.35 million equity investment in PLBY, as well as signing a $300 million licensing agreement with the iconic lifestyle brand.

The board, which has expanded from five members to seven, now comprises six members with the addition of Gattyan, along with a yet-to-be-filled seat.

“Mr. Gattyan brings to the board over 10 years of experience as an entrepreneur, digital technology executive, and director and chairperson of multiple organizations,” said a rep.

Gattyan, who is the current CEO of Byborg parent company Docler Holding S.a.r.l., also founded LiveJasmin.

“Gyorgy has established multiple successful web-based businesses, making him a valuable addition to the board, as Playboy continues to pursue a digital-focused, asset-light business model,” said PLBY CEO Ben Kohn. “I’m excited to welcome Gyorgy to PLBY Group and have his experience and support as the company returns to growth.”
