HOLLYWOOD, Calif. — J London and Johnny Castro have been nominated for a Transgender Erotica Award (TEA) in the category Best Trans Masc Scene (CrashPadSeries).
“I'm honored to be nominated, and especially for a scene with CrashPadSeries.com,” said London. “CrashPad was one of the first studios where I was able to see trans and nonbinary bodies being represented, and being a part of that is something I have long aspired to. I want to show the variety of trans post-op bodies that can exist, especially for people of color. It will help others see that you don’t have to prescribe to what heteronormativity thinks you have to be.”
CrashPadSeries marketing director Jiz Lee also enthused about the recognition.
“It's important, now more than ever, to make adult content that demonstrates personal agency, embodied pleasure, and respect for trans creators and viewers alike — especially trans men of color, who are underrepresented in both mainstream and adult media,” said Lee. “We hope to continue to see more trans people celebrated in porn, holding positions both in front and behind the camera.”
The TEAs ceremony will take place on Mar. 9 at the Avalon.
