LOS ANGELES — Pop group The Gurls has been tapped to open the 2025 Trans Erotica Awards.
The Gurls is a collaboration between Domino Presley, Alissah Brooks, and Raquel Starr, and the band released their debut album, "Doll Behavior," last summer.
The Trans Erotica Awards is a two-night event that includes an Official Pre-Party on March 7, while the ceremony will take place on March 9 at the Avalon in Hollywood.
Presley, who will also serve as the official TEA Mistress of Ceremonies, enthused about the opportunity to play the TEAs again.
"We are so honored to be performing again," said Presley. "I love that the TEAs always book entertainment within or affiliated with the adult industry. We’ll be performing a brand new song that we're really proud of, which will also be released on March 7."
Starr shared her own excitement about the upcoming gig.
"We can't wait for everyone to hear the new music we’ve been creating," added Starr.
