HOLLYWOOD, Calif. — Director Jim Powers has scored multiple nominations at the 2025 XMA Awards.
The nominations include Director of the Year — Body of Work (Non-Narrative), Director of the Year — Trans Works, Best Trans Movie (“Gilligan's Trans Adventures” and “Space Trans”), and Best Sex Scene — Trans (“Trans Rave,” “Gilligan's Trans Adventures,” “Transsexual Nurses 3,” and “Bachelor Party Surprise: A Jim Powers Spotlight”).
“I’m honored to be up for two directorial awards and to have the XMAs recognize my work,” Powers said. “It’s great that a ton of my scenes were nominated too. I’d love for Brittney Kade’s ‘Accidental Gangbang’ from my spotlight to win because it was one of the best scenes I directed this year, and it’s just incredible. Thank you, XBIZ, Adult Times, and everyone on my crew for making this happen.
The 2025 XMA Awards will recognize the best in the industry on Sunday, Jan. 19, at the historic Hollywood Palladium. In keeping with tradition, select award categories under Web & Technology, Pleasure Products, and Retail will be presented at the two editions of the annual XBIZ Honors ceremonies.
