LOS ANGELES — Demi Hawks and Chanel Camryn star in the latest horror comedy from Elegant Angel, titled “Rest in Pieces.”
Written and Directed by Harry Sparks, the two-part featurette also features Lawson Jones
The first installment of "Rest in Pieces" opens "with the trio watching George Romero’s ‘Night of the Living Dead’ on Halloween night,” said a rep. “When Chanel leaves the room, Demi proceeds to fuck Lawson on the living room floor, thus infuriating Chanel.”
Hawks enthused about the shoot.
“Working on this Halloween scene was such a treat,” she said. “Harry Sparks' love and appreciation of the horror genre was so clear, and the scene has many little nods to some of my favorite campy horror classics. Chanel and I had a great time playing frenemy roommates and bringing the story to life. And of course, Lawson Jones delivered passion and energy that made the sex electric. I also got to try my hand at my own SFX undead makeup, and I hope the fans get a kick out of the look.”
Added Sparks, “Making ‘Rest in Pieces’ was a blast. From writing the script, to working with an undeniably talented cast, to finally seeing it all come together, this was some of the most fun I’ve had making a movie yet. If you enjoy dark comedy and Halloween like I do, you’re gonna love it.”
Elegant Angel VP of Production Chura praised the genre, cast and crew.
“We wanted to ramp up our successful holiday vignette releases with a featurette with an expanded storyline, and Halloween was the perfect opportunity,'" Chura said. "We loved Harry's script, and the cast and crew killed it, pun intended."
