LOS ANGELES — Renee Olstead to appear on the 'Corn Telethon' on Oct. 15, hosted by Siri Dahl.
"This event, which will be streamed simultaneously on Twitch and YouTube, is aimed at raising funds for SWOP LA (Sex Workers Outreach Project Los Angeles) and supporting journalism initiatives focused on sex worker issues, and will feature a diverse lineup of entertainers, comedians and musicians coming together for a good cause," said a rep.
Olstead enthused about the livestream.
"Events like this are so important, not only for raising funds but for raising awareness about the real challenges that sex workers face every day,” she said. “That’s why initiatives like this are so close to my heart; we have the opportunity to shine a light on these issues in a fun and engaging way while still supporting organizations like SWOP LA, which are doing critical work on the ground to protect and advocate for sex workers’ rights.”
The event will be streaming on Twitch and YouTube.
