LOS ANGELES – Holistic sex educator Tiffany Chan has published a new blog post titled “Ink, Temples and Tradition: My Discovery of Goshuins in Japan."
In the article, Chan explores Japan's sacred tradition of collecting artistic temple stamps, called goshuins. Collecting goshuins herself transformed Chan's recent travels to Kyoto "into a visual diary filled with spiritual and artistic meaning," said a rep.
“I’m not sure if it’s the artist in me or my passion for the ancient world that made discovering goshuins hit me like a tidal wave,” she writes. “The more I explored, the more captivated I was by them.”
Chan also observes the impact taking part in such an activity can have on a person living in today's society.
“Collecting goshuin in a bustling, modern world feels like tapping into something timeless," she writes. "It’s a way to slow down, appreciate the beauty of craftsmanship and engage with Japan’s culture on a deeply personal level."
