PITTSBURGH — Blake Blossom stars in the latest romantic comedy feature from Elegant Angel, titled "Cheerleaders Behaving Badly."
Written and directed by Harry Sparks, the title also features Maya Woulfe, Gizelle Blanco, Anna Claire Clouds and Oliver Davis.
"Sparks expertly tells the story of a group of college cheerleaders who, facing eviction for unpaid rent, launch their very own adult paysite in a naughty fundraising scheme," said a rep.
Blossom enthused about the project.
"It’s been a blast working with Harry again for 'Cheerleaders Behaving Badly,'" she said. "After meeting him on the set of 'Scissors,' I was really impressed with his writing and character direction. When he asked me about the project, I felt it was up my alley — pun intended. I was a cheerleader for many years, so to be back with a squad of good friends feels amazing. There is a lack of girls cheering each other on lately, but in this feature, we explore how far friendships and relationships can be tested."
Added Sparks, "I’ve been a fan of the cheerleader movie genre ever since I saw 'Debbie Does Dallas.' I, along with the cast and crew, had a blast making 'Cheerleaders Behaving Badly' and I hope the fans have as much fun watching it as we did making it."
Elegant Angel VP of Production Chura also praised the genre and writer/director.
"We are thrilled to showcase the underutilized cheerleader genre in 'Cheerleaders Behaving Badly,'" Chura said. "I cannot remember the last big cheerleader movie that hit adult shelves, and we could not be happier with Harry's original screenplay and story."
