WOODLAND HILLS, Calif. — Non-sex performer Daniel Shar has announced a reprise performance of his sold-out comedy show, “Near Sex For Work," Aug. 31 at the Lyric Hyperion Theater and Bar, in Silverlake.
"The debut night of 'Near Sex For Work' was one of my favorite experiences in the twenty-plus years I've been writing and performing comedy," Shar said. “I can't thank ATMLA enough for taking a chance on me and helping me carve out this niche for myself as a non-nude, non-sex, comedy actor specialist in porn. My agents have enabled me to work with so many of the top companies, directors and performers, and to be honest, I think we've all been pleasantly surprised at how well it's been working out for everyone."
ATMLA owner Mark Schechter enthused about working with Shar.
"Daniel contacted me 18 months ago to inquire about representation for non-sex acting roles only, a concept that I had always considered but never pursued," he said. "This was the perfect opportunity, and I quickly added him to the roster. I am looking forward to seeing his live comedy show, and I encourage all to come out and enjoy the evening with us."
