SAN FRANCISCO — Director Miguel Lafuente’s short film “The First Kiss” has made its NakedSword debut as part of the studio's Short Cuts Summer Film Festival.
The short features Julio Bohigas Couto, Aritz Itoiz, Álvaro Lucas and Fátima Baeza.
'The First Kiss' centers around Couto, the synopsis reveals.
"No one in his small commuter town knows that Andi is gay except his older brother. The film follows Andi as he travels to Madrid for a first date with someone he met online."
“The First Kiss” won the Audience Award at the 2023 La Pecca LGTBI Short Film Contest and was named Best Short at the 2024 Roze Filmdagen Amsterdam.
