LOS ANGELES — Kazumi will make her mainstream reality TV debut on Thursday, appearing on the latest episode of Tubi’s “House of Heat.”
The show stars nine influencers — Jade Ramey, Brandon Karson, Chase DeMoor, Ava Louise, Vinny Buffa, Steph Mi, Nafeesah Terry, Sumner Blayne and Koaty Blayne — sharing a mansion as cameras document their often-steamy interactions.
As an iconic adult performer and creator, Kazumi’s arrival immediately raises the temperature and volatility of the main cast’s dynamics.
“All my life, I’ve always wanted to be on TV,” Kazumi told XBIZ in an exclusive interview. “I was raised in Los Angeles, I went to film school and I have even been on two reality porn shows — but I’ve never been cast by mainstream TV because I do porn. Not until this year!”
Noting that only a few years ago, this opportunity would have never even existed for someone with her background, Kazumi expressed hope that her casting on “House of Heat” will lead to more mainstream opportunities in the future, for her as well as for other adult performers and creators.
“There are some porn stars crushing in other industries, but it’s often after they’ve retired,” Kazumi told XBIZ. “I want to show the world that it’s possible to do it all. I’m proud of my work as a sex worker and can do anything I want — no closed doors can stop me, or any of us!”
Kazumi’s first episode of “House of Heat” airs July 11 on Tubi.
