NEW YORK — Performer Austin Wolf pleaded not guilty last week after his arrest following an FBI operation targeting the distribution of CSAM.
Wolf is being held without bail in Brooklyn, New York, after U.S. Magistrate Judge Robyn F. Tarnofsky agreed with prosecutors that he was a danger to the public and presented a flight risk.
The performer was identified by both his legal and professional name in a press release by the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Southern District of New York, which also prominently referred to him as an “adult actor.”
Wolf’s arrest was announced Friday by federal prosecutors and the FBI’s New York field office.
Wolf is charged with sending and receiving “hundreds of videos” of CSAM via Telegram and also storing them at home in an SD card retrieved by the FBI.
Wolf’s attorney, Thomas H. Andrykovitz, told LGBTQ+ news publication The Advocate that “the government’s press release contains nothing but unproven and untested allegations against a man that is presumed innocent. Justin is thankful for the incredible support he is receiving from his friends and supporters.”
