LOS ANGELES — MixedX has released "Shadows Of The Heart," from studio banner GetVampired, starring Candee Licious and Ann Joy.
Written and directed by studio principal Christina Shine, the scene opens on Licious as "a tender-hearted vampire who, having wandered the earth for centuries in search of connection, crosses paths with Ann Joy and sparks an intense romance," said a rep. "Candee’s true nature as a creature of the night, however, remains a secret in order to protect Ann, while Ann chooses to ignore the enigmas surrounding Candee, believing in the power of their love to overcome all obstacles."
Shine enthused about the scene.
"Despite being an otherworldly vampire tale, ‘Shadows of the Heart’ mirrors the complexities of real-world relationships and the choices we make for love," she said. "We ignore those doubts and misgivings when the happiness at stake is so great, and this story is a reflection on the lengths we go to preserve the love that makes life worth living."
