LAS VEGAS — SWAID Collective will host a clothing swap in Las Vegas on April 21.
SWAID provides harm reduction supplies, microgrants and testing subsidies to sex workers in need, and it hosts two clothing swap fundraisers each year. This upcoming event, which will take place at a private location, is free to attend and provides sex workers an opportunity to exchange clothes, shoes and toys among other items.
Event sponsors include No Filter Fotos (attendees have the option to do mini-photoshoots with Nikki Sequoia of No Filter Fotos), Peepshow Toys, Christian Wilde, Uberrime, Crystal Delights, System JO, Dee’s Big Daddies, Nobu Toys, CB-X, PS:Group and Velvet Alley Toys, with more TBA. Sponsors have donated pleasure products that will be raffled off during the event. All attendees receive a free raffle ticket with the option to obtain additional tickets with on-site donations.
“It’s always a pleasure getting to see so many sex workers in one place and for a good cause,” said SWAID volunteer Sydney Screams. “SWAID is near and dear to my heart, both as a volunteer and a recipient of their services. I’m honored to help raise funds for our organization, especially since 100% of our donations go right back into the sex worker community.”
