LOS ANGELES — MixedX has released “Under the Stars,” starring Zazie Skymm, Angelika Grays and Clemence Audiard.
The apocalyptic-themed drama, written and directed by Christina Shine, finds three stepsisters facing their own mortality as they prepare for the worst. Before they meet their final fate, Angelika suggests connecting on a deeper level together by giving in to their basest desires and need for love and intimacy.
“I don’t want to face death in fear and without love,” she says.
Shine described “Under the Stars” as “a tribute to those moments that define us, the connections that bind us and the wild ride that is life itself. The film invites viewers to savor every moment and live like there's no tomorrow — because for Zazie, Angelika and Clemence, there just might not be.”
