Adam & Eve Reveals Results of Reproductive Rights Survey

HILLSBOROUGH, N.C. — Adam & Eve has released the results of a new survey asking Americans if they feel that their reproductive rights are being taken away.

Among poll respondents, 48% of those surveyed (44% of males and 50% of females) felt that their reproductive rights are definitely being taken away. Another 23% (25% of males and 22% of females) said they feel those rights are "somewhat" being taken away.

Twenty-two percent of respondents (24% of males and 22% of females) did not feel their reproductive rights are being taken away. An additional 7% said they weren’t sure.

“Reproductive rights include having the ability to decide whether and when to have children,” said Dr. Jenni Skyler, resident sexologist at Adam & Eve. “It refers to the freedom to control decisions regarding contraception, sterilization, abortion and childbirth. As more of these rights are taken away, I encourage adults to vote to protect their reproductive and human rights as they see fit.”

Director of Marketing Chad Davis explained that Adam & Eve “got its start providing condoms by mail, and we still offer a wide variety of condoms to support easy access to affordable birth control. We encourage adults to explore their sexuality within their own comfort levels and boundaries.”

The web-based survey of over 1,000 American adults, age 18 and up, was conducted by an independent third-party survey company and was sponsored by Adam & Eve, to study sexual preferences and practices.
