NEW YORK — Veteran computer animation pioneer Judson Rosebush has released a new photo book of erotic art, ”AI Sweethearts Sex Workers Freaks.”
Rosebush, renowned for a long career which includes working on the graphics for the original “Tron” in 1982, “creates synthetic personalities and emboldens them to audition, join a sorority house, work in a strip club and explore a realm of sexual situations, oftentimes with unexpected complications,” a rep explained.
Rosebush said, “Since sexual media is the tip of the arrow of new technology and a leading indicator, I was curious to discover just how practical it would be to portray human interactions using text to describe AI image generation. I have experience creating computer graphics and animation; experience in writing, directing and editing live action; and an author of more than one book dealing with the deconstruction of media into actions and keywords.”
Rosebush added that the AI explorations in his book tested the limits of realism.
“Telling your AI Sweetheart that her hands should have five fingers might produce correct results, but she might also just grow a finger out of the top of her head,” he said. “You’ll see.”
